Giving a brand the voice to tell its story
It was in the first meeting that our team has with Jess Kennedy, we knew that it was going to be an amazing couple months. Jess had been building her brand, Strong Souls, for quite a while before approaching us. As a personal trainer, she led boot camps, personal training, and a platform to help encourage her community.
As Jess’s classes became more popular, she was taking Strong Souls on more full-time. She needed a platform, outside of her Facebook page, that would legitimize her brand as professional and established, while also helping her manage her growing schedule of classes.
This also involved creating a new brand logo and video to help market her brand and share her story.
Because so much of Strong Souls goes beyond just physical fitness, we started by really getting to know Jess and her story. We used this backstory as the inspiration behind a new Strong Souls logo and brand guidelines that would help guide both the website and video.
The website was heavily designed off the new Strong Soul’s new brand logo. This simple one-page website would need to be clear about what Strong Souls is, access to class scheduling, and a way to connect with the Facebook community.
The video was a two-day shoot that included following Jess throughout her day, shooting her in her home, at her own workouts, and leading her classes. The goal was to accomplish two things with this video—tell the inspiring story behind Strong Souls and encourage others to take the step into fitness.
On both ours and the client side, we ended the project thrilled at the final result. We even had the pleasure of getting a preview of Jess’s video launch party, where she gathered friends, family, and her support to view the video that would help her share her story of transformation and help her continue to grow her dream business.
